Want to gain true peace from within and enlighten your life?
I can honestly tell you that through the practice of yoga, I have found a whole new peace within myself and it glows from the inside out.
Yoga dates back over 5,000 years ago and is rooted from Hinduism. It has since skyrocketed across the world among people from all walks of life. “It is a practice that combines both physical and spiritual exercises, and entails mastery over the body, mind and emotional self, and transcendence of desire.” Why has this practice become so popular?
Yoga not only relaxes and puts oneself at ease, it has actually been proven to improve our overall health. Breathing exercises used along side poses that open the chest and airways can help improve asthma and overall breathing patterns in individuals, making lives a whole lot easier and comfortable. Yoga and meditation have also been found to lower blood pressure, and could reduce your risk of a heart attack or stroke. Pretty amazing if you ask me! Yoga is for everyone! I know we can all come up with excuses to not do something (myself definitely included), but let’s change it around and make it happen!! Leave your excuses at the door and lay out your mat! Well, atleast give it a try and whether you do it once, or become addicted and practice the rest of your life, you WILL benefit and feel amazing! In the fast paced world we live in, it’s important to relax and connect with yourself, make time for you, and focus on improving your overall health and life!
I can’t help but feel a sense of enlightenment in everyday life because of what I have learned through the art and practice of yoga.
Namaste
I love the this! I have recently become a fan of yoga and swear by it to everyone! It has reduced my need for using my asthma inhaler, I have gained more patience and mentally overall feel better! It has also helped my mom with her Parkinson’s Disease and being able to keep up with her movements as they slowly decrease. Great blog post!
Yay! I’m so glad to hear!! I also don’t have to use my inhaler anymore either, what a great feeling. That’s so amazing for your mom too, that makes me happy and warms my heart 🙂
