It’s Sunday night and I am WAY distracted. I have a list of things to do however my fingers found their way to the laptop and “a googling” they went. One thing led to another and BOOM!! the most AMAZING earrings appeared in front of my face!!
Let me tell you a little bit about me and fashion. I have NO sense of fashion. When I am getting ready for the day, I have one rule…..”You touch it, you wear it”. Meaning if I pull it off the hanger, it goes on me, not the floor or back on the hanger. Why? Simple, I spent too much time worrying about what to wear and how I looked. Don’t get me wrong, I care about my looks, but I got stuck in a vicious cycle of wearing the same things while new things and old favorites sat on the hanger. I needed to change it up a bit and that one rule has made all the difference!!
When I’m talking about a project I just completed, an idea, and most recently course work, friends often ask me, “How do you have time to do that!?” Most of the time I respond with an “I don’t know, I just do.” That is honestly the truth. I don’t know how I get half the things done while still managing to get a few winks of sleep and quality time with my family. Oddly enough, being busy is how I find my flow. When I am feeling focused and energized, I can find more than 24 hours in a day.
While I don’t find flow all that often in course work, I find it in being creative and producing something tangible. If assignments have a creative aspect, I can easily get lost in them.

That magic income for emotional well-being was between $50,000 and $74,999. Perhaps money can indeed buy happiness!

Let me cut right to the chase. I’m sure you have heard that Governor Mark Dayton and Lt. Governor Tina Smith proclaimed May 23, 2016 to be “Beyoncé Day” in Minnesota.
Proclaiming “days” isn’t anything new for Governor Dayton. He actually proclaimed 20+ different ones in May. Heck the Queen Bey shares her day with the Terrace Theatre in Robbinsdale, MN. So really May 23, 2016 isn’t “Beyoncé Day”, it’s “Beyoncé and Historic Terrace Theatre Day”.
Let’s push “Historic Terrace Theatre Day” aside (sorry Robbinsdale!) and talk about “Beyoncé Day”.

Driving to work this morning I found my mood going down the tube. It wasn’t just a case of the Mondays or due to the change in weather. It was a case of I hate people. Yep, I hate people. To be more specific, I hate people who are not focused on driving and nearly crash into me.

Yep, I am an ENTJ.
Some of you might have already pegged me as such, but who cares about my personality type anyway? Whether you realize it or not, you all do.
